SEA DIECASTING 2026 to Host Roundtables on Supply Chains, Tech Localization & EV Synergy
SEA DIECASTING 2026 will take place from May 20–22, 2026, in Chonburi, Thailand, bringing together industry leaders to explore the strategic development of Southeast Asia’s rapidly growing die casting market. As part of the exhibition, three high-level roundtable discussions will address critical challenges and opportunities shaping the region’s role in the global die casting industry.
Designed as in-depth exchanges rather than conventional seminars, the roundtables will translate industry insights into practical implementation pathways, supporting enterprises seeking sustainable growth and regional integration.
The Global Supply Chain Role Roundtable will feature industry associations from ASEAN countries, including the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES) and the Thailand Die Casting Association. Discussions will focus on Southeast Asia’s positioning within the global die casting supply chain, emerging opportunities for cross-border resource integration, and strategies to strengthen supply chain resilience.
The Technology Localization Path Roundtable will highlight real-world experiences from enterprises such as Ryobi and IKD Co., Ltd., examining how advanced die casting technologies can be effectively adapted to Southeast Asian manufacturing environments. The session will address technical barriers, localization strategies, and practical approaches to improving localized production efficiency.
The Industrial Synergy New Ecology Roundtable will bring together the Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), automotive OEMs, and Tier 1 suppliers to explore collaborative models between die casting and automotive manufacturing. With a strong focus on Southeast Asia’s rapidly expanding EV market, the discussion will examine ways to remove industrial chain bottlenecks and unlock new growth opportunities through deeper cross-sector cooperation.
These SEA roundtables are closely aligned with the broader global industry agenda led by FICMES. Also organized by the Foundry Institution of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society (FICMES), CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2026 will be held from July 15 to 17, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (Halls N1–N4). As Asia’s largest specialized exhibition for die casting and nonferrous foundry, the 2026 edition, themed “Twin Engines: Al & Mg, A Lightweight Future,” is expected to span 49,200 square meters, attract over 600 exhibitors, and welcome 28,000 professional visitors from around the world.
Together, SEA DIECASTING 2026 and CHINA DIECASTING & CHINA NONFERROUS 2026 form a connected platform linking Southeast Asia with the global die casting ecosystem—combining regional insights with international perspectives, and supporting deeper collaboration across markets, technologies, and supply chains. Colleagues from around the world are warmly invited to participate, exchange insights, and explore new opportunities for cooperation.
