Voyah Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Voyah”) is a high-end intelligent electric-vehicle brand established by Dongfeng Motor Corporation—first set up in 2018 and officially incorporated in 2021. Headquartered in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, the company has a registered capital of roughly RMB 3.67 billion. Dongfeng Group holds more than 77 % of its shares, giving Voyah a central SOE background in the new-energy vehicle sector.
Positioned as a “zero-anxiety, high-end, smart EV brand,” Voyah covers the full value chain of new-energy vehicles—R&D, production, sales and technical services. Its current model line-up includes the Voyah FREE, Dreamer and Zhuiguang. The company operates a fully direct-sales model and has built more than 50 company-owned stores across China.
As the key carrier of Dongfeng’s strategic transformation, Voyah integrates 50-plus years of Dongfeng’s automotive resources and keeps increasing investment in intelligent technologies. In 2025 it released the self-developed Tianyuan AD system and maintains deep cooperation with Huawei, Baidu and other tech giants on autonomous driving. By 2025 Voyah has filed over 3,900 patents, was listed among the State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission’s “Double-Hundred” enterprises, and was named a new unicorn by Forbes China.
