The 21st China Die Casting Congress will be held in Wuhan, China from March 25 to 27. Under the theme of "Al & Mg, Casting a Lighter Future", it will gather global industry leaders to jointly shape the lightweight future.

Dongfeng Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dongfeng Technology") Wuhan Branch (hereinafter referred to as the "Branch")is a division established by Dongfeng Technology to conduct integrated die-casting business. Its registered address is Room 707, Office Building of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., No. 10 Dongfeng Avenue, Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, Hubei Province. The die-casting plant is located at No. 8 Yunfeng Avenue, Junshan Street, Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone, Hubei Province.
The Branch specializes in integrated die-casting operations, committed to establishing benchmarks in cost and quality, and aims to become a synchronous development partner that satisfies customer needs. The Branch features a streamlined organization with a lean workforce and flat management structure. It comprises four functional departments: Technical Quality Department, Manufacturing Department, Human Resources & General Affairs Department, and Financial Accounting Department.
Regarding Market Strategy: The Branch will fully support various vehicle units of Dongfeng Motor in developing integrated die-casting products and ensure successful supply for the first vehicle models equipped with them. Based on maximizing capacity utilization at the Wuhan base, it will engage with regional customers and the die-casting industry chain to explore opportunities outside the Dongfeng network and foster regional industrial synergy. Leveraging the localized supply advantage of large die-castings, the Branch will establish new manufacturing bases through self-investment or partnerships, depending on market development, to achieve additional supply contracts.

Regarding R&D: The Branch will fully leverage its latecomer advantages by adopting industry-leading process equipment technology and smart manufacturing technologies to build leading competitiveness in quality and cost. Through synchronous development with vehicle customers, it will establish capabilities in structural design, strength simulation, and mold flow analysis for large die-castings, enhancing its synchronous development proficiency. The Branch will increase collaboration in material development and mold development to build innovative capabilities and competitive advantages across the entire value chain.
Regarding Manufacturing: The Branch will closely monitor developments in manufacturing technologies within the integrated die-casting industry. It will control investment pace according to customer demand to ensure lean capital allocation. Through continuous benchmarking, it will target industry-leading metrics in cycle time, yield, OEE, and energy consumption. The Branch will continuously optimize process and equipment parameters, employing clever and appropriate smart manufacturing technologies to create a die-casting operation that is safe, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, low-cost, automated, and intelligent, thereby establishing competitiveness in product quality, cost, and delivery.
Currently, the Branch has completed plant construction and is fully advancing production line setup and the synchronous development of new energy battery trays. The first Start of Production (SOP) is planned for April 2026. The first phase will establish an annual manufacturing capacity of 200,000 large die-castings, contributing to the enhanced competitiveness of new energy vehicles for its automotive customers.
