Hong Kong Diecasting & Foundry Association (HKDFA), established in July, 2008 as a result of the merging offormer Hong Kong Diecasting Association and Hong Kong Foundry Association, each having a history of more than twenty years, is the only leading industrial organization of Hong Kong diecasting and foundry industry. It also has a good reputation and wide influence both at home and abroad. The merger of the former two associations meant that HKDFA should take the responsibility of new historical mission. HKDFA now has over 500 members, including those most famous, large-scaled and listed companies in this field, mainly located in southern China. Most of the member companies have headquarters in Hong Kong and plants in the mainland to provide diverse casting parts, diecasting and foundry equipments, raw materials and surface treatment service for casting parts. Cast products include household articles, 3G products, toys, auto parts and parts and components of large machineries and so on, with their markets covering all over the world.
